This is an exceptional Campo del Cielo Meteorite from Argentina that fell to earth some 4,200 to 4,700 years ago. It measures 3 3/8″ x 2″ x 1 1/8″, weighs 11.4 ounces and has a natural sheen on the Black metallic finish. These Meteorites are special in that they have “fingerprint” marks on the surface which are the result of the melting of the material upon entering the atmosphere from outer space.
