Youngite is an Agatized Brecciated Jasper with a grayish translucent druzy quartz around the outside of the material. The druzy quartz usually fluoresces green. The Jasper center color varies from tan to peach, brown, reddish and salmon. Youngite is used in making gemstone beads or cabochons and is very hard.
