Description

Natural Zincite is rare and found only in few location in the world other than the famous zinc and manganese mines of Sterling Hill and Franklin, New Jersey.  Synthetic Zincite crystals were formed by accident in a zinc manufacturing facility in Poland and now are grown artificially as a by-product of zinc smelting.  The crystals can be colorless or range from dark red, orange or yellow to light green.
