Description

Angelite, also known as Anhydrite, is a member of the Calcium Sulfate family.  It is formed in a hot climate and in evaporative deposits of chemical sedimentary rocks.  It alters to Gypsum when dehydrated and is often associated with Halite and Barite.  The name is Greek and means “without water.
