This is a pretty gemstone heart carved from Rose Quartz. This very nice Heart measures nearly 4″ wide x 3 3/8″ tall x 1 1/2″ thick and has a nice polish. This lovely heart has a great Rose Pink color with good clarity to showcase some wonderful inclusions and “rainbow” reflections. It would make a great gift or a good addition to a collection.

Rose Quartz is a type of Quartz which exhibits a pale pink to rose red hue. The color is usually considered as due to trace amounts of Titanium, Iron or Manganese, in the massive material. Some Rose Quartz contains microscopic Rutile needles which produce an asterism in transmitted light.
