This is something special for a serious fossil collector.  This is a nice quality fossil Starfish from the Ordovician or some 450 million years ago.  The species of the starfish is Ophiura, otherwise known as Brittle Star and is from the Kataoua Formation in Morocco. The matrix measures 8 1/4″ x 6 1/4″ x 3/4″ thick and the Starfish measure approximately 4 1/2″ and 5″. An outstanding addition to any collection!
