Mangano Calcite or Manganoan Calcite is a Manganese rich mineral that gives it it’s pink color. It is sometimes confused with Rhodocrosite. Mangano Calcite is sometimes called the “Reiki Stone” as it is said to have healing properties.

This is a very pretty Mangano Calcite egg from Peru. This egg measures 2 1/8″ tall x 1 3/4″ and has a nice polish. This egg is very nice Pink, White and Grey colors with lots of neat accents and iridescent areas. Please take note of the transformation of this sphere under a SW/UV light in the photo below! It will also fluoresce under a LW/UV light. Very nice!
